Photography by Karen Goss and Darren Hall for Yahoo Style The fall collections were full of rich fabrics, textures and details which made me think of one place: Morocco. So I decided, why not shoot a fashion story in this otherworldly country which has long inspired fashion designers? In fact, one of my favorite collections was Lanvin’s, whose creative director Alber Elbaz is actually from Casablanca— I knew I was onto something. So I decided let’s go to Morocco to shoot a few fashion story and never mind that it’s August and 100 degrees and we will need to travel seven hours between each destination— not to mention we were traveling with a team of a 11 people and 14 trunks of clothes!
Maddie Ziegler on Zendaya’s Style, How Sia’s “Like Family” & Why Shia LaBeouf Makes Her Nervous “Everyone says, ‘You’re going to get burnt out! You’re going to get sick of it!’ And I’m like, no because this is what I want to do,” says Maddie Ziegler on the set of her shoot for Yahoo Style. “Even though I want to act, I still want to be able to dance and have that as a backup career.” At only 12 years old, Ziegler is firm in her boots (read: dancing shoes) about who she is, what she wants to do, and who she’s aspiring to be.
When it comes to photo shoots, movies, and other work, it sure looks like Riley Keough knows what she’s doing. But the Mad Max star says looks can be deceiving…(She’s an actress, after all.) “I like working, but I don’t take anything seriously. I just do what they tell me and hopefully it turns out good with the editing,” Keough says, laughing. In this behind the scenes video, the 25-year-old’s dishes on her style icon—it’s Jane Birkin, but she says she doesn’t dress like her!—how she’d describe her style—she’s been on the cover of Vogue, but admits, “I don’t put that much effort into my every day style.”—and what songs are on her playlist. Hint: Her dad, the Elvis Presley, may or may not be on there!
