    PHOTOS: JJ Lin, Namewee, A-mei, Eason Chan at KKBOX Music Awards

    Taiwan’s biggest music streaming company, KKBOX, held its annual music awards show on Saturday (20 Jan) at the Kaoshiung Arena, where it honoured the most popular singers in the past year. The 13th KKBOX Music Awards show saw Mandopop royalty such as A-mei, JJ Lin and Rainie Yang perform a number of their hits on stage, with popular Hong Kong singer Eason Chan rounding off the show with a 15-minute medley of over ten of his songs. Nicholas Tse was another Hong Kong celebrity that made a special appearance at the show, marking his on-stage return as a musician. Malaysian singer Namewee also had a special duet with Hong Kong-based singer G.E.M Tang for his hit song, “Stranger In The North (漂向北方)” All photos courtesy of KKBOX.     Taiwanese-Korean singer Bii's concert draws fans from the region to Singapore

    About 2,000 fans from Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Japan gathered to see Taiwanese-Korean singer Bii perform at his first concert in Singapore at The Star Theatre, The Star Performing Arts Centre on Saturday night (17 June). During the two-hour concert, Bii had interactive game sessions with several lucky fans, who were chosen to go up on stage based on numbers that were stuck on the bottom of their chairs. In a show of friendship and solidarity among BFs (what Bii’s fans are called), one fan gave up her ticket to another, who was seated among her friends holding an LED sign with Bii’s name on it.

    Taiwanese-Korean singer Bii back in Singapore for concert on 17 June after one and a half years

    Taiwanese-Korean heartthrob Bii will be back in Singapore for his “Bii With You LIVE in Singapore 2017” concert on 17 June. The 27-year-old was last in Singapore in December 2015 to promote the album “Unstoppable 3-Epochal Times” alongside label-mates Dino Lee and Ian Chen. Bii, whose real name is Pil Seo Jin, was born and raised in South Korea.
