Barbara Muschietti took to Instagram to let followers know the good news, and give them a little fuel for nightmares in the process. Hopefully that’s a nice birthday present for the esteemed author, who just turned 69 this week. The big screen take on ‘It’ has been in development for many years, infamously coming close to being made by ‘True Detective’ and ‘Beasts of No Nation’ director Cary Fukunaga with Will Poulter in the pivotal role of the evil clown Pennywise.
