    Organiser of Asian TV Awards shuts, gets funding cut by Singapore government: report

    The financially troubled event company that organises the Asian Television Awards has reportedly closed down and had its funding from the Singapore government withdrawn. The Infocomm Media Development Authority had pulled its funding for the 2018 awards and removed the event from the Singapore Media Festival, according to a report by marketing news website Mumbrella Asia on Wednesday (22 May).
