The production team behind the viral “If Yishun Were A Movie” video, Juo Productions, has created an action series for YouTube based off the popularity of their short films “The Rule Breakers”. The first two “The Rule Breakers” shorts came to fame for their fight choreography in 2014, and they even won the “Singapore Outstanding Creativity Award” in TBS Digicon 6 Asia 2014, a Japanese short film festival/competition.
With a nondescript title and Liam Neeson as the star of the film, unspoken expectations have already been set up about “The Commuter”. “The Commuter” takes quite a while to get to its premise, i.e., showing Michael (Liam Neeson) actually commuting and getting into the thick of things.
If you took every famous Hollywood science fiction movie and tossed it in a blender, you’d get “Bleeding Steel”. Scorpion kicks, Darth Vader-lookalikes, laser guns, capes, and soldiers that look like black Stormtroopers (with designs tweaked just far enough to avoid copyright issues). In fact, there’s even a massive spaceship complete with gigantic engines that looks like the lovechild of the Millennium Falcon and a Super Star Destroyer, which is incongruous when you consider that the film ostensibly takes place in the present day, and literally no one else possesses a spaceship.
“Alone” (“Seuls”) is a French young adult science fiction thriller based on the comic of the same name. “Alone” is directed by David Moreau. Despite being based on a comic (and hence, having plenty of stories to draw upon for their plot), the film takes the corniest aspects of the source material and presents it in a faux arthouse film style.

The film takes place two years after “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”, and sees ape leader Caesar at war with the humans of the planet, even while he deals with his own internal struggles. “War for the Planet of the Apes” is directed and written by Matt Reeves, with additional writing credits for Mark Bomback.

"Doraemon The Movie: Nobita's Great Adventure In The Antarctic Kachi Kochi" is a Japanese 2D animated comedy adventure in Japanese with English subtitles, and it is the 37th film in the "Doraemon" franchise.
“Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry” is a Japanese 2D animated fantasy action film that’s part of the “Fairy Tail” anime and manga franchise. The film sees the Fairy Tail team going after a devastatingly powerful artefact in another kingdom.
“Resident Evil: Vendetta” is a Japanese 3D animated action horror-thriller in English. It is the third 3D animated film in the “Resident Evil” franchise, and takes place in the same shared universe as the “Resident Evil” games. It is not in the same shared universe as the live action “Resident Evil” films.
“Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” is an action thriller that’s the second in the “Jack Reacher” franchise. Ex-army man Jack Reacher returns to his former military base and finds himself framed and on the the run. It stars Tom Cruise (Jack Reacher), Cobie Smulders (Susan Turner), Danika Yarosh (Samantha Dayton), and Robert Knepper (General Harkness).
“L.O.R.D. Legend of Ravaging Dynasties (爵迹)” is a 3D motion capture animated action fantasy adventure wu xia film. It features the likeness and voice talents of Fan Bingbing (Kuizan Lotus), Kris Wu (Silver), Cheney Chen (Chi-Ling), William Chan (Nether), Amber Kuo (Thalia), Yang Mi (Shen Yin), Lin Yun (Phantom Flower), Yan Yikuan (Kuizan Feng When), Aarif Rahman (Ni Hong), Roy Wang (Pale Boy), Wang Duo (Kila). “L.O.R.D. Legend of Ravaging Dynasties (爵迹)” is a large improvement over previous Chinese animated films.
“Kubo and the Two Strings” is a 3D stop-motion animated fantasy action adventure film about a boy on a quest to gather the lost pieces of his father’s armour, in an attempt to prevent his demented grandfather from killing him. It features the voice talents of Art Parkinson (Kubo), Charlize Theron (Monkey), Matthew McConaughey (Beetle), Ralph Fiennes (the Moon King), and Rooney Mara (the Sisters). Although exams are just around the corner, “Kubo and the Two Strings” is perfect for the whole family, with its touching themes and fluid animation.
“One Piece Film Gold” is a 2D animated action adventure and the thirteenth film in the “One Piece” film franchise. It sees the Straw Hat Pirates going up against the world’s richest man, Gild Tesoro. It features the voice talents of Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D. Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Roronoa Zoro), Akemi Okamura (Nami), Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp), Hiroaki Hirata (Sanji), Ikue Otani (Tony Tony Chopper), Yuriko Yamaguchi (Nico Robin), Kazuki Yao (Franky), Yuichi Nagashima (Brook), and Kazuhiro Yamaji (Gild Tesoro).
