Sylvester Stallone welcomes new boxer to "Creed 2" cast

Ivan Drago's son will be played by the newly-added Romanian boxer

Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone will be joined by a new guy in "Creed 2".

16 Jan – Sylvester Stallone's been busy online these days. Apart from assuring fans that his face will still be seen in "Expendables 4", he has also been sharing with fans the latest update on "Creed 2".

His newest post on Instagram is a congratulatory welcome to Romanian boxer Florian "Big Nasty" Munteanu, who has officially joined the sequel's cast.

Why Big Nasty? This is how the boxer looks like:

"Congratulations to Florian "Big Nasty" Munteanu for getting the part as Ivan Drago's son! 27 years old, 6 feet four, 245 pounds of talent," Stallone helpfully included the newcomer's height and weight so fans can gauge just how intimidating this guy will look like on the big screen as Adonis goes up against him in the ring.

Like stated in the post, Munteanu will play the son of Ivan Drago, the character played by Dolph Lundgren in the 1985 movie, "Rocky IV", and which he will be reprising as well for "Creed 2".

To be directed by Steven Caple Jr., the sequel is expected to begin production in Philadelphia this March, set for a North American release of 21 November 2018.

"Creed 2" will follow Adonis Creed as he avenges his father's death, hence the introduction of Ivan Drago's son in the upcoming movie.
