Sweet love: Surprise mum with your own unique Mother’s Day cake at Châteraisé this May
Singapore — Popular Japanese confectionery brand, Châteraisé, launches the brand’s first-ever customisable cake, just in time for Mother’s Day this May.
Launching eight new cakes just for Mother’s Day, Châteraisé puts out the Mother’s Portrait Whole Cake (S$45), a design-your-own vanilla sponge cake. Encouraging their customers to write sweet messages to express their love for their mothers, the two-layered cake comes with a chocolate pen for you to design your cake. The fresh cream cake is topped with strawberry sauce and fresh strawberries.

While most of the Mother’s Day cakes are primarily focused on the use of fresh strawberries, directly imported from Japan, there is also a Chocolate Fresh Cream Whole Cake (S$20) and Fruits Zebra crepe cake ($40) available for those who wants something different.
Along with the launch, Châteraisé also puts out three Easter-themed mousse cakes (S$5.10) for customers who celebrate the holiday. The animal-shaped cakes come in cute bird, cute bunny, and cute panda designs.
Country manager Mr Masuyuki Matsuoka shared that “Châteraisé has a unique farm-to-factory system that provides reliable and high quality raw products for the brand,” hence allowing the cakes to be sold at a reasonable price.
The brand, which prides itself for using fresh ingredients only from their contracted farms across Japan, is approaching their fourth anniversary in Singapore. With 25 outlets island-wide, the company continues to air-flown fresh strawberries three times a week to Singapore and keep their cakes made in-house in Japan.
The Mother’s Day cakes are available for reservation from any Châteraisé outlets from now, and are available for sale at the outlets from 1 May 2019.
