New swatches of Pat McGrath’s Metalmorphosis have been released and they’re so GORGE we just can’t take it

Pat McGrath’s releases are the Yeezys of makeup. They sell out, crash sites, and if you strike out you’re forced to overpay on eBay. This release has been building up steam since Fashion Week when the legendary MUA sent models down the Versace runway with metallic tear ducts. At first we thought the release would be eyeshadows, but then taking a look at her IG page we thought, could it be another lip kit?
It turns out — both. “Metalmorphosis” includes shadows and pigments that can be mixed with Mehron mixing liquid to get that whole molten lava effect.

Pat finally showed us swatches of the shades on her Snapchat that were of course reposted by beauty account Trendmood1.
Trendmood1 points out that the swatches on the left are the pigments alone and the right side are the pigments applied over the cream.
The “Everything Kit,” which includes four pigments, four creams, the Mehron mixing liquid, and a dual edge liquid liner, is priced at $165. For one kit, which includes one pigment, one cream, and the liner is $60, and the liner on its own is $24.
Metalmorphosis will hit Pat’s site on November 15th and select Sephora stores and online on November 22nd.
For now all we can do is look at her gilded Instagram feed and dream…
