Susan Shaw tired of calls from concerned friends
8 Dec – Seasoned actress Susan Shaw Yam Yam wants you to know that she is doing fine and is not concerned at all about her health problems.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who made her first public appearance since announcing that she is diagnosed with skin cancer, shared that she has been getting too many calls from friends and colleagues asking about her health and recommending doctors to her.
"I know everyone is enthusiastic to help, but now it seems like I am the one who has to comfort them instead. It's exhausting," she admitted.
Susan said that despite her condition, she is satisfied and grateful for her life.
"I could die in three days' time, or I may die ten years later. But now my children would always keep me company when they're not working," she said.
When asked what she is doing to protect her skin, Susan said that she is staying out of the sun, and avoid anything chemical used on her face.
