Supreme has teamed up with Pat McGrath Labs for its first-ever beauty release.
The American brand is no stranger to high-profile collaborations, previously partnering with Louis Vuitton, Nike, and The North Face.
Now the label, founded by James Jebbia in 1994, has set its sights on the beauty market.
Creating the MatteTrance Lipstick with world-renowned make-up artist Pat McGrath, the lip product features a groundbreaking formulation in its signature high intensity hydrating pigment. It's available in one shade only, SUPREME, a bright red hue designed by McGrath to reflect Supreme's iconic red logo.
"New York is synonymous with Supreme-when you hear the name, you automatically envision their signature white-on-red palette," McGrath said, reports Vogue.
The lipstick is encased in McGrath's signature gold bullet, featuring a pair of gold lips, with Supreme's red and white logo adorning the outside.
She shared the news on Instagram and Marc Jacobs was quick to comment with three red hearts.
It was announced in May that Naomi Campbell had been tapped to be the global brand ambassador of Pat McGrath Labs, making her the first face of the label.
"To be a part of her luminous legacy as a trailblazer in the worlds of beauty and fashion is truly an honor," the make-up artist praised. "What truly makes her special, and the ultimate McGrath muse, is her legendary loyalty and unparalleled work ethic."
