Sunshine Dizon determined to pursue legal action
23 Jun - Sunshine Dizon is not making empty threats when she said she was going to take her separation case to court.
As reported on Rappler, the actress, who decided to air her husband's alleged affair on Instagram recently, stated that she will continue with her previous decision to take the matter to court, although she will keep things quiet for the time being for the sake of her two children, Doreen and Anton.
"I am trying my best to keep everything quiet, but it's quite hard due to my profession as an actress. Please bear with me as I am preparing myself for battle," she said.
Dizon stressed that she is not just fighting for herself and her two children, but also to inspire others who are in similar situations.
"It's not right for me to keep it a secret, and I assure everyone that I will battle it to the end. You can expect me to speak only the truth when the time comes," she added.
She also posted a thankful message on Instagram, saying, "A lot of you I don't know, but you still went out of your way to make me feel that I am not alone. [...] I hope one day, my story becomes your story, a story of courage."
The conflict between Dizon and husband Timothy Tan triggered recently when Dizon posted several messages that implied that her husband has been having an affair with a woman who is living in the same building. Tan later made an announcement saying that he and Dizon have mutually agreed to separate, which only angered the actress more.
