Sunny Chan and Sheren Tang return with "The Marriage"
20 Apr – Hong Kong actor Sunny Chan and Sheren Tang are making their television comeback with the new ViuTV drama, "The Marriage".
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the press conference held to announce this year's line-up, shared that he will play the role of a husband who has been cheating on his wife with several women.
Sheren Tang stars as the unfortunate wife of 20 years, while Bernice Liu plays one of the girlfriends.
Asked if he would let his son watch the drama, Sunny said that he would absolutely be opened to that so that he could understand the values of other people.
On the other hand, Sheren stated that her character in the drama will be different from the many empowered and strong female roles she played in the past.
"This is a woman who is willing to sacrifice for love, who would still stay with her husband even if she knows that he has another," she said.
