Sun Li laughs off another pregnancy rumour
21 Sep – Chinese actress Sun Li has recently laughed off rumours that she is currently pregnant with twins.
As reported on Epoch Times, rumours of the "Legend of Zhen Huan" star's supposed pregnancy sparked again in June, after she was spotted at an event with a fuller figure and chubbier face.
It was also further fuelled by the fact that Sun doesn't have any new drama since her series, "The Ideal City" completed in January.
Somehow, the pregnancy rumours have since expanded from just one baby to twins, with some alleging that the actress will be having a girl and a boy.
Following the said rumours, the actress' studio decided to give their respond first, stating, "It's so fake it cannot be faked anymore. This news has been spreading since 2017. It seems that Sun Li has been pregnant for five years."
The studio also added that they couldn't understand why people would continue to believe such a rumour after five years.
As to why the actress has not starred in any new drama for a while, her rep stated that Sun has high requirements for scripts and would only do two series a year at most.
Tying the knot with actor Deng Chao in 2010, the actress is already a mother to two children, son Deng Hanzhi born in 2011 and daughter Deng Hanyi, born in 2014.
