Sukie Shek doesn't regret choosing concert over wedding
29 Sep - It has always been Sukie Shek's dream to one day hold her own concert, which is why she chose the stage over her own wedding.
As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who postponed her wedding with fiancé Patrick Tang from late 2016 to next year, is set to hold her first concert "Sukie S My First Stage Live 2016" in October.
When asked if she wouldn't regret postponing her own special day for the show, Sukie said, "It's worth it! Although I am still young, if I don't pursue this dream now, I may not have the opportunity in the future."
Sukie admitted that she is thankful to Patrick for his understanding and support, especially when it was him who gave her the green light when she found it difficult to make a decision.
"We're only postponing it to next year. In fact, being married or not are no different to us now, since we're just a simple couple. To us, marriage is just a piece of paper," she said.
