Sue Ramirez frustrated that moviegoers only watch popular actors

17 Sep – Sue Ramirez couldn't help but shed a tear of frustration over the fact that a majority of moviegoers would only support films that star popular actors.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who sat down with Boy Abunda on the show, "The Bottomline" on YouTube recently, state that it hurts that some actors were not given the chance to show their hard work because they were not as popular as some others.

"I just feel like they're not giving other people the chances that they deserve, for the beautiful stories that they make, for the hard work that they put into these movies that we lost sleep, blood and sweat in, and tears," she said.

Ramirez also believes that it is unfair for the majority to watch a movie based on the actors instead of the story.

"It really is difficult for us," she added.

The actress was one of the guests of the recent episode, which also features her movie, "Cuddle Weather" director Rod Marmol and Film Development Council of the Philippines chair Liza Diño-Seguerra.
