Every year, rumours are rife that the intimacy of the dances leads to the celebrities and their professional partners hooking up, known as the 'Strictly curse' when it causes the end of a relationship.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Dianne was asked by Susanna Reid about the speculation, which have heated up following the Argentine Tango that she and Bobby performed over the weekend.
Shutting down the rumours, Dianne said: "The thing I love most about dancing is being able to tell a story. It's like acting, and we obviously did the dance the correct way if that's what's being said."
Susanna also pointed out that Dianne's boyfriend Joe Sugg posted about the dance on social media and called it "fantastic".
Elsewhere in the interview, Bobby said the Argentine Tango was his favourite dance of the series so far, stating: "The choreographers were brilliant and the story and the intensity and the emotion of it all – I loved it."
He also said that his dad Jeff Brazier was "proud" and "shocked" regarding his Strictly performance.
"He doesn’t know where I get the ability of the desire to perform and put on a show," Bobby said.
Good Morning Britain airs daily on ITV and streams on ITVX.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
