Stephy Tang's "My Prince Edward" shortlisted for two film fests

10 Feb – The Stephy Tang-starrer "My Prince Edward" was revealed to have been shortlisted for two international film festivals.

As reported on Singtao Daily, the movie which was nominated at the Golden Horse Awards last year, will be competing at the 22nd Udine Far East Film Festival, where it will hold its European premiere, and the 15th Osaka Asian Film Festival where it will also premiere for the first time in Japan.

Speaking about the film's upcoming festival debut, Stephy said that she is grateful for the movie's recognition.

"Aside from the fact that I play a lead in the movie, I also sincerely liked the movie personally. That is why all these recognitions moved me very much. Congratulations to director Norris Wong and the team of "My Prince Edward". I am looking forward to more good news," she enthused.

Lead actor Chu Pak Hong also expressed elation over the news, saying that it was fortunate for a Hong Kong movie to receive such good news amid such trying times.

"My Prince Edward" stars Stephy as Fong, a woman who has to sort out her previous sham marriage before she can finally tie the knot with her prince charming.
