Stephy Tang denies reconciling with Alex Fong
18 Jan – Hong Kong actress Stephy Tang has recently denied rumours that she and ex-boyfriend Alex Fong have supposedly reconciled.
According to Mingpao, the actress, who was photographed with Alex at a Buddhist event recently, stated that they were not there on their own, but with mutual friends.
"We mainly talked about Buddhism and didn't do anything special. We went straight home after the event," she said.
When asked if their friends have ever persuaded them to rekindle their romance, the actress said, "Some friends would joke about it, but only close friends. Since we have a lot of mutual friends, it wasn't awkward for us to see each other."
"But yes, it is still embarrassing when people talk about it," she added.
Asked if she has plans to find somebody new, Stephy reiterated a past response that she is focusing on her work for now.
The couple ended their relationship back in 2016 after dating for ten years.
