Stephen Colbert Enlists John Oliver’s Help In ‘Fight Song’ Parody

Stephen Colbert got a little help from Last Week Tonight host John Oliver to take on a parody of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song”, which has become the anthem for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

On Tuesday, the Clinton campaign presented an a cappella version in a video that featured celebrities including Elizabeth Banks, and America Ferrera, and Colbert and friend John Oliver later followed with a parody version of their own on Colbert’s Late Show.

The video features many of the same celebrities who appeared in the DNC version, along with inserts of Colbert holding up puppets and giant wind instruments. At one point, we see an unhappy looking Oliver: “I did not agree to appear in this,” he said. “I was just told to wait here with these things on my ears.”
