Stephanie Ho to wed Fred Cheng at the end of 2020
4 Jan – Stephanie Ho was full of glee as she responded to the media recently to address the previous announcement of her engagement to boyfriend of two years, Fred Cheng.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who shared the good news on 1 January, stated that the two of them have learned a lot about each other for the past two and a half years and have grown to respect and support one another.
"We're not only a couple. He is also my best friend. I am looking forward to starting this new stage in my life," she enthused.
When asked how Fred proposed, Stephanie stated that the singer actually asked her father's permission first before popping the question to her.
"He proposed during our trip, and made special arrangements so that our friends and family would be there as well. It was all so touching and joyful," she said.
The trip might refer to the couple's previous vacation to Thailand back in November.
As for their upcoming wedding, Stephanie said that they have tentatively planned to hold it at the end of the year somewhere overseas.
"As to whether we will hold it in Hong Kong as well, we're still discussing it. If there is any good news, we will share it with you. Lastly, I wish everyone a good health in 2020," she added.
