Stay at home with Dr. Jason Leong: Is a career in comedy worth it?

In the second episode of Stay at home with Dr. Jason Leong, the stand-up comedian gets real about earning a living wage solely from comedy - but Leong does it because it's his passion, and he's able to make hundreds of people laugh. Behind this 'backstage view', Leong touches on common questions like his first few failed shows, to his experience with fans and fan mail as well as his dreams of making it big (psst Netflix, give him his own show already!). Leong is the first Malaysian to win the 7th Annual International Hong Kong Comedy Festival, and he went on to attract a wider audience when he performed a full professional set at Laugh Factory in Hollywood, USA and Gotham Comedy Club in New York. Leong has also opened for Harith Iskandar in front of 9,000 people at a sold-out show at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil, calling it ‘the best night of his life.’ It was also the first English stand-up comedy show to be broadcasted on Astro First, Pay Per View in Malaysia.
