15 Oct – Keeping up with the news has been made easier by Dimsum Entertainment, as the video-on-demand service yesterday launched its brand-new live news channel.

Dimsum Entertainment partners with Al Jazeera and Channel News Asia (CNA) for the new offering, which features live news streams that allow viewers to stay up to date with breaking news and current global events.

The news channel can be viewed on Dimsum Entertainment's web (www.dimsum.asia) and mobile application for free.

Apart from the above, Dimsum Entertainment's subscribers can also access The Star, R.AGE and CCTV4 News for more local and global news coverage. E-News Headlines, i-CABLE, NewShowBiz and mStar are also available for subscribers looking for the latest updates in entertainment.

Another new addition to the VOD service is "Storm Bytes", an original mini-series from Singapore-based TechStorm that features high quality entertainment about esports, tech, and start-up trends from across Asia.

Even though it's only been 18 months since its launch, TechStorm is Asia's fastest growing channel that focuses on premium Asian esports and tech innovation stories and has now already reached 43 million viewers.
