"Start-Up PH" to premiere on GMA in September
19 Aug – Bea Alonzo and Alden Richards' highly-anticipated series, "Start-Up PH" is set to premiere this September.
On 17 August, GMA Drama shared the good news on Twitter with the first official teaser of the drama, writing, "#StartUpPH is a unique story about dreaming and loving starring Asia's Multimedia Star, Alden Richards, and multi-awarded actress and box office icon, Bea Alonzo."
"#StartUpPH, world premiere this September only on GMA!"
The drama is based on the hit Korean drama of the same name, which stars Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Kim Seon-Ho, and Kang Han-Na.
The Filipino version was first announced in March this year, with both Bea and Alden playing the lead, joined by Jeric Gonzales and Yasmien Kurdi.
Aside from the drama, Bea and Alden are also working together in the upcoming movie, "A Moment to Remember", which is also an adaptation of a Korean movie, which in turn is an adaptation of 2001's Japanese drama, "Pure Soul".
