Stanley Tucci Returns In Transformers: The Last Knight

Stanley Tucci is back in ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’.

According to Variety, the 55-year-old ‘Transformers’ actor will reprise the role of Kinetic Solutions Incorporated boss Joshua Joyce in the upcoming sequel.

“Stanley Tucci, who was in Deauville to receive a career tribute on Saturday, will reprise his role as Joshua Joyce in Michael Bay’s ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’,” they revealed.

But how exactly will he return?

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ will see Mark Wahlberg return as Cade Yeager - a struggling inventor who ended up dragged into the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons after stumbling upon an old beaten up truck… that turned out to be Optimus Prime.

But how will Stanley Tucci fit into the upcoming sequel?

At the end of ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’, we saw Joshua Joyce aligning himself with Cade Yeager and the Autobots… so perhaps we can expect ‘The Last Knight’ to pick up where that particular story thread left off.

But for now, we’ll have to wait and see.

Of course, this means that Mark Wahlberg won’t be the only returning actor from ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’. But will any of their other co-stars return to join them?

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson.

This will reportedly be Michael Bay’s final ‘Transformers’ movie, and is based on a screenplay by Matt Holloway, Art Marcum and Ken Nolan.

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ heads to cinemas on 23 June 2017.
