Merely one month after HGTV star Jasmine Roth shocked fans by putting her Huntington Beach, California home on the market, the custom built home has sold. The three-bedroom house, which was previously listed on Airbnb before it hit the market, sold for $2,214,000 (it was initially listed at $2,199,000).

For those curious to know just how Roth sold her home so quickly, the Hidden Potential host recently chopped it up with Realtor about the swift sale of her home and more.

In regards to a speedy sale, Roth revealed that staging is everything. She also added that receiving an independent appraisal will help take any emotion out of choosing a listing price.

"I tell all my clients the same thing. Make sure your home is either staged or has depersonalized furniture in it," Jasmine Roth said. "Take great photos and always hire a professional to help you. We also got an independent appraisal to help price our house, which helped us take the emotion out of the sale, making sure we didn't price it too high."

In addition to missing the natural light and gorgeous views from her former home, Roth revealed that what she loved most about the home was its unique style, which she helped curate.

"My favorite part of this home is definitely the 'California Cape Cod' style that was carried throughout the inside and outside of the design," she shared. "I loved the traditional Cape Cod design elements, like crown molding, shingled exterior, and marble counters paired with the more laid-back California design elements, like butcher block, big windows, and the open-concept floor plan."

Fortunately for Roth, if nostalgia for her old home kicks in, a quick stroll around the neighborhood will remedy that given that her new home is just four blocks away.
