"Spirit of the Glass" director in awe with Maxine Medina

Jose Javier Reyes says the beauty queen is very professional on the set of her first big movie

20 Oct - Movie director Jose Javier Reyes is full of praises for beauty queen Maxine Medina, who recently starred in her first big role in his new movie, "Spirit of the Glass 2: The Haunted".

As reported on Manila Times, the filmmaker, who spoke about the Miss Universe-Philippines 2016's involvement in the project, shared that Medina has the discipline to be a great star.

He said, "What's so nice about her is number one, she's a bright young woman. Number two, she loves what she's doing and she's having fun. And lastly, she's willing to learn."

"When an artist has an attitude like that, there's no way you're going to lose," he said.

In "Spirit of the Glass 2: The Haunted", Medina plays the role of a diva star who gets entangled in the aftermath of playing a game of Ouija with her friends (starring Cristine Reyes and Ashley Ortega).

Reyes added that he even told Medina he couldn't wait to work with her again because of her professionalism, adding that Medina is the kind of artiste who wants to become an actress, and not just a celebrity.
