South Korean stars Lee Dong Wook and Suzy confirm they are dating
South Korean stars Lee Dong Wook and Suzy confirmed they are dating through their labels on Friday (9 March).
According to K-pop news site Soompi, Lee’s agency King Kong by Starship said, “They met at a private, casual gathering. They recently started to get to know each other with good intentions and have feelings for each other. Because it’s still the beginning and we just learned about it, there’s not much we can say about them dating or being a couple.”
Suzy’s agency JYP Entertainment added, “They are currently in the process of getting to know each other.”
Lee, 36, is an actor and model known for his leading roles in television dramas My Girl, Scent of a Woman, Hotel King and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God.
Bae Su Ji, 23, better known as Suzy, is a singer and actress. She was a member of the girl group Miss A under JYP Entertainment which disbanded last year.
According to another K-pop news site allkpop, during a guest appearance in 2012 on the Korean variety show Strong Heart, Suzy stated Lee Dong Wook as her ideal type.
Lee, who was MC of the show at the time, responded, “What an authentic answer!”
