Jeon Tae-soo, famous for his roles in South Korean dramas such as “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and “All My Love”, died at the age of 34 on Sunday (21 January), media reports said.

In a statement to famous Korean entertainment forum Soompi, his agency, Haewadal Entertainment, said the actor had been undergoing treatments for his depression and was recently in discussions to return to acting.

His family and friends plan to hold an intimate funeral for the late actor and hope that reporters will not be there.

His sister, actress Ha Ji-won (“Secret Garden”, “Empress Ki”), has cancelled an appearance that was scheduled for 22 January, which was a press conference to promote her upcoming film “Manhunt”.
