Sophie Turner Just Totally Changed Her Hair

Hair color, cut, and style is essential in the world of Game of Thrones, so it's only fitting that Sophie Turner would bid goodbye to the show that put her on the map with a massive hair change.

The actress just took to Instagram to debut a new lob haircut and icy blonde hair color, not unlike the shade the Targaryen's sport on the show. "New beginnings, new #WellaHair! ♥️ Thank you @sonyadove and @cwoodhair for transforming my look with @wellahairusa," she captioned the post. Turner, who has had to dye her hair from blonde to red and back more times over the course of the show then she wants to admit, has been an ambassador for Wella Hair for the last year.

If you noticed something different about Sansa Stark's hair in the last season of the show, that's because for the very first time Turner's real hair was hiding under a wig. "I started wearing a wig in season seven because I had dyed my hair blonde and it wasn’t the best experience, so we couldn’t really dye my hair back red," she told ELLE.com. After a few months it was healthy enough to dye red for the upcoming X-Men Phoenix film, but when she craved being blonde once more, Turner was hesitant.

Turner isn't the only GOT cast member to change her hair to make the end of the show. Emilia Clarke dyed her hair platinum blonde to kick off filming the last season. No word yet on whether her blonde bob means we'll see Clarke without a wig on in the new episodes (but how crazy would that be)?
