Sonia Sui: Taking care of two kids is really challenging!
21 Mar – She may be the epitome of grace and glamour when she is out in public, but according to Taiwanese model-actress Sonia Sui, she is just another overwhelmed mother at home.
According to Epoch Times, the model who appeared at Atelier Swarovski event recently, shared that the latest issue in the Sui-Chia house is the sibling rivalry that is developing between two year-old son Max and one year-old daughter Lucy.
"Max is heavy now and his younger sister is also not that light. Although Max doesn't like to be held nowadays, recently he saw that Lucy asked me to hold her in my arms, and decided that he wants to be held too.
"But you can't hold two kids at the same time. If you hold one, the other will cry. In the end they cry together and gave me a headache," she said with a laugh.
Sonia said that being a mother to toddlers have made her more creative as she has to think of solutions to their rivalry, which includes diverting their attention from fighting.
"For example, I will bring out the bubble toys, and then say, "Let's go downstairs and blow bubbles". They will stop crying and actually play together," she said.
Sonia also revealed that both her mother and her husband Tony Chia, who was working in the United States, have recently returned to Taiwan, which means she can finally get some rest.
