Sonia Sui says son not ready for another sibling
18 Jul – Although she has no qualms trying again for a third child, Taiwanese model-actress Sonia Sui admitted that the only reason she is postponing her baby number three plan is because of son Max.
As reported on SETN, the actress, who spoke to the media during a rare public appearance, said that she really hopes to have a third child, but that she will wait a little while until her son is big enough to comprehend the relationship between siblings.
"I'm worried that having another baby will affect Max negatively. He has started showing signs of jealousy towards his younger sister Lucy even though he loves her very much," she said.
Said Sonia, her three-year-old son would sometimes be possessive of his old toys and wouldn't let Lucy have it even though he hasn't played with it for a long time.
"I can only find ways to create a great relationship with him, so that he won't feel that I prefer her sister over him. I don't know if Max can accept another sibling so soon," she said.
