Song Hye-gyo to sign contract with Wong Kar Wai
22 Apr – South Korean actress Song Hye-gyo recently revealed that she is set to sign with Wong Kar Wai's company, Jettone Films.
As reported on Now News, the "Descendants of the Sun" actress, who made an appearance at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards, shared that while she has yet to confirm any projects with the company for now, she hopes to have more cooperation with Chinese actors and directors in the future.
"I would love to make romance films the most, and hopefully I will be lucky enough to be given such a challenge," she said.
Song previously worked with Wong in the 2013 film, "The Grandmaster".
On the other hand, Song shared that it has been 12 years since she walked the HKFA red carpet and is happy to be invited yet again.
"The atmosphere hasn't changed, the friends I made haven't changed, and so am I. The only change is that I will have a new beginning this time," she said.
