Sonal Vengurlekar is the latest addition to the Yeh Hai Chahatein family. The actor talks about her character and her look in the show, which she says is an experiment to try something new for the first time.
“I play Sanya Dubash who will invite trouble in the lives of Rudraksh and Preesha. For now, it is kind of a grey shade but I am more than happy to turn full negative and a vamp character for this one. I feel negative shades have an opportunity to portray differently and a variety of emotions of all kinds, which is important for any actor. My look in the show will also be one of the key highlights as I have never donned such a look. I have been on a certain diet for the past two years and it is paying off well as the attire is totally going with my personality right now,” she says. "In all these years, this would probably be the first time I am in a different look altogether. I have never been too keen on experimenting with my look but this time I did it not only for my on-screen character Sanya but also on the personal front. I now sport shoulder length hair and I must say that I have been drawing decent compliments for this," she laughs. "My look in Yeh Hai Chahatein is of a bold, young free-spirited girl whose attire matches with her personality, which is colourful and vibrant. Off-shoulder dresses, bangles and nose rings are Sanya's favourites," she says.
