Slipknot to return to Singapore on 13 January 2021 for first show in 15 years
UPDATE: Grammy award-winning heavy metal giants Slipknot will be playing their first show in Singapore since 2005, headlining Rockfest Singapore III on 13 January 2021.
LAMC Productions announced via their official Facebook page with a video announcement. All tickets previously purchased will be valid for the new date.
SINGAPORE — Get ready for some serious head-banging. LAMC Productions announced on Wednesday (6 November) that Grammy Award-winning heavy metal giants Slipknot will be playing their first show in Singapore since 2005, joining the Singapore Rockfest II on 24 March 2020.
The masked octet, who released their sixth studio album “We Are Not Your Kind” in August, are in the midst of their world tour of the same name and will include Singapore as part of their Asian dates.

Slipknot last played in Singapore in August 2005 at the Fort Canning Park, in support of their third album, “Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)”.
Their latest album debuted at No.1 on the US Billboard charts, and amassed nearly 52 million views on YouTube in just two months.
Ticketing and venue details have yet to be announced.
LAMC held the first Singapore Rockfest in 2014, and it featured top heavy rock bands such as Alice In Chains, Korn, Rob Zombie and Five Finger Death Punch.
It has already announced that hard rock giants Scorpions and Whitesnake will be headlining a show under Singapore Rockfest II at Fort Canning Park on 4 March 2020.
