The Witches — Available from 5 March

In February, Sky debuted the Roald Dahl biopic To Olivia and, to follow that up, they're unveiling the latest adaptation of one of the legendary author's most memorable works. It has been available on premium video-on-demand since October, but now it's available free to Sky or NOW TV subscribers.

Directed by Robert Zemeckis, The Witches follows a sinister plot mounted by Anne Hathaway's gloriously over-cranked Grand High Witch to turn all of the world's children into mice. The book was previously adapted for the screen by Nic Roeg in the 1990s, but this new version moves the action to 1960s America and casts Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci and Chris Rock among its supporting ensemble.

The Glorias — Available from 7 March

Gloria Steinem is one of America's most significant and famous feminist thinkers. This innovative biopic picks her up at four different stages of her life, with Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, Lulu Wilson and Ryan Kiera Armstrong all taking their turn at portraying the icon. Bette Midler and Janelle Monáe are also among the enviable cast list. The movie debuted in the USA to solid reviews last year and is now arriving on British shores as a Sky Original.

SAS: Red Notice — Available from 12 March

This British thriller is based on a novel by acclaimed soldier-turned-author Andy McNab and focuses on a former Special Forces operative who fights back against a plot to blow up the Channel Tunnel. Poms — Available from 14 March

Movies about older women finding ways to enjoy life anew are often very entertaining, with the recent Book Club finding plenty of laughs with a tale of a group of women exploring the world of Fifty Shades of Grey. That movie shares a cast member with new comedy Poms, in the shape of Diane Keaton. She's one of several women living in a retirement community, who decide to put together a cheerleading squad. Jacki Weaver — the actor rather than the internet-famous parish council moderator — is also involved.

Finding The Way Back — Available from 19 March

Ben Affleck delved into his own demons for this hard-hitting drama about a former high school basketball prodigy who is recruited to coach the school's current team. He's struggling with alcoholism in the wake of a tragedy and his subsequent separation from his wife. Affleck has spoken about how the movie acted as a form of therapy for him given his own issues with drinking. Released in the UK last year, it's a powerful study of addiction in which Affleck delivers his best performance in years.

Creation Stories — Available from 20 March

Jason Isaacs (hello), Suki Waterhouse, Rupert Everett and This Is England star Thomas Turgoose are also due to appear.

Six Minutes to Midnight — Available from 26 March

A mystery thriller set on the verge of the Second World War, this Sky Original features Eddie Izzard and Judi Dench on the trail of a group of missing students who are in grave danger thanks to a dark plot. Izzard's character — an English teacher drafted in when their predecessor disappears in suspicious circumstances — ends up framed for murder, with school governess Dench providing assistance.

As well as the newly airing fourth season, the other three runs are available to stream now.

Having premiered on HBO Max in the USA, the show is now arriving on these shores.

Cuoco plays an alcoholic, hard-partying flight attendant who wakes up one morning with the corpse of a murdered passenger lying next to her. A 16-year-old boy and his father move into an abandoned building on the outskirts of the German city where they live. What could possibly go wrong? Well, naturally the building is haunted in some way and appears to be malevolently feeding on the suffering of those who live within it, like a sort of architectural Dementor. It sounds spooky and fascinating.

Tina — Available from 28 March
