Flashy monogrammed prints have shown no sign of slowing down—chalk it up to the Y2K renaissance. So when news broke that SKIMS would be teaming up with Fendi on an exclusive new collection, it came as no surprise that it leveraged the Italian designer’s double-F logo.

It was announced early this morning that the two Kims—Kardashian and Jones, that is—have come together to create a monogrammed collection, and it’s the best of what both brands have to offer. The collaboration combines SKIMS’ highly coveted silhouettes and seamless fits with Fendi’s luxe details and extensive archives—the lineup taps into the storied maison’s 1979 collections—including Karl Lagerfeld’s twisted tube tops, tight sashes, and pops of color. Its star-studded campaign includes Kardashian as well as famous faces like model Precious Lee, Jessie Li, Tianna St. Louis, and Grace Valentine.

“The idea for the collaboration came about when my team and I were sitting around a table at the studio in Rome,” the creative director explained. “Suddenly, all the women went silent and started looking at their phones. I didn’t know what was going on, but they were waiting for the launch of the new SKIMS collection. It was then that I thought: Let’s do something together. [Its] mission of creating solutions for all women is directly mirrored within that of Fendi. My Fendi is about creating something for every woman, every different shape—and that’s something at the heart of SKIMS too.”

Confirming Jones’s sentiments, the fashion and beauty mogul gives her take on what makes the two a perfect match. “Both Fendi and SKIMS have a cultural power very different from each other, but equally as strong,” Kardashian said. “We share a desire to push boundaries, think differently, and challenge convention, which is why we found so much common ground collaborating on this collection together.”

Fans of the brands can expect more than just undergarments and clothes from the partnership. Proving that SKIMS can go well beyond your top drawer, the new offering includes a range of products such as sportswear made from recycled nylon, reversible knitwear, and bonded leather dresses. The brands also designed new takes on Fendi’s signature accessories like the iconic Peekaboo bag and its Fendi First heels. Of course, if it’s hosiery and intimates that you want, the collection has those too.

The pieces will be available November 9 at select global retailers and online at fendiskims.com.
