Siti Nurhaliza would love to attend Noraniza Idris' final concert
17 May – Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza recently stated that she would love to attend Noraniza Idris' upcoming final concert, which will be held this October.
The singer gave that response when asked about it recently, after Noraniza, known to many as Kak Ani, previously expressed her intention to invite Siti as a VIP guest.
"I am thankful and grateful that she thought of me, as well as her prayers when I was in Mecca earlier. If there is no issue, God willing, I will attend the concert as a guest, no problem," she said.
At the same time, Siti also expressed hope that Kak Ani will not stop performing, saying that people still care for the singer - being someone who continues to fight for the Malay traditional music.
Earlier, Noraniza stated that her upcoming concert, "Malai Solo", which will be held in Istana Budaya, will be her final solo concert, and will be a three-day affair that includes a variety of events including an art festival.
In the same interview, the singer stated that she has always prayed for the best for Siti, of whom she used to collaborate with in the past and was rumoured to have a rift with - the latter which had been debunked by both parties multiple times.
