For mobile gaming fans in Singapore who like to play on the go, but are worried about hitting their data cap, Singtel and Riot Games' new zero-rated gaming bundles for League of Legends: Wild Rift might be just the thing.

Announced by the Singapore telco on Monday (8 Feb), the RiotGO and RiotGO+ bundles will provide Wild Rift players with unlimited data-free gameplay, and up to $40 worth of in-game content.

Priced at $6.90, RiotGO bundle includes five Champions, one emote, one exclusive icon and one kill bauble. Meanwhile, the $9.90 RiotGO+ bundle will have 10 Champions, three emotes, one recall, one exclusive icon, one kill bauble, one RiotGO+ chest and an additional 1GB of data.

“Singapore has always been an important market for us as a mobile-first nation, and we are thrilled to partner with Singtel to deliver a world-first with RiotGO,” said Riot Games’ Justin Hulog, General Manager for Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, in a media statement.

All Singtel 5G customers will get a complimentary three-month subscription of RiotGO or RiotGO+, while other Singtel postpaid mobile customers will receive a complimentary one-month subscription of their choice.

Wild Rift is Riot Games' foray into the competitive Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) market, using their League of Legends characters and lore.

It entered its regional open beta in October 2020, and is scheduled to see its own esports scene take off with the recently announced Wild Rift SEA Icon series.
