SINGAPORE - Vacations have taken a backseat amidst the global turmoils, and it seems that we're cautiously approaching the light at the end of the tunnel.
According to a SafeTravel news release from ICA, the Singapore-Germany travel bubble, or Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), will start on 8 September 2021. This means Singapore citizens and permanent residents can fly to and from Germany without having to quarantine or serve SHN in either country from that date onwards.
Of course, to travel, there are certain prerequisites to meet.

With the VTL announcement, Tripadvisor shared data that shows the number of Singaporeans searching for German destinations has tripled. We may complain about it not being safe still, but it does not mean that we don't wish for travels to resume.
