Whoever said Singaporeans don’t dress well clearly hasn’t been paying attention. The Singapore version of the Zalora Style Awards on Thursdsay (23 March) honoured five Singaporeans who have made an impression in the local fashion community.

Fashion photographer Lenne Chai – whose works have been featured in Teen Vogue, NYLON and Harper’s Bazaar – walked away with the Fashion Game-Changer of the Year award while the title of Young Designer of the Year went to local designer Goh Ling Ling.

Stylist Randolph Tan, who has previously styled for Burberry and represented Singapore at the Asia Top Stylist of the Year Awards 2013, was awarded Stylist of the Year.

Zalora also crowned model Andee Chua and fashion entrepreneur Cinddie Teo as Male and Female Style Star of the Year respectively.

The winners were selected by a panel of judges which included Managing Editor of Augustman Darren Ho, international model Sofia Wakayabashi, singer and actor Nat Ho, fashion lecturer and entrepreneur Ginette Chittick and Zalora’s Head of Private Label Rayne Reed.

These judges also worked closely with Zalora to launch #ZALORAICONS, a new creative campaign featuring a series of original videos showcasing their creative inspirations and their favourite fashion tips.

The videos also give viewers access to exclusive interviews with a line-up of local tastemakers, and are available across multiple platforms including on the Zalora website.
