Singapore Science Festival 2018 shines light on artificial intelligence

The Singapore Science Festival is returning for its 18th edition with the theme “Hello World, A.I. You Ready?”. Participants can discover the possibilities of artificial intelligence (A.I.) and its influence on everyday life in the 18th edition of this festival. Festival activities at the Science Centre and various venues include light drawing, bullet time photography and an augmented reality sports game. Visitors can also look forward to Maker Faire, a festival of invention and creativity at Our Tampines Hub that features projects such as the Smart Mirror by inventor Saral Tayal, which integrates Amazon’s Alexa voice control features, and can browse the web. The Singapore Science Festival will run from 17 August to 8 September.
