Back in 2016, the life-sized Snorlax plushie that is 150cm tall and 130cm wide and weighs 12 kilograms caused a big hoo-hah among Pokemon fans. The excitement over life-sized Pokemon plushies died down a little before picking up last year, when the adorable Psyduck made its debut. This year, the latest addition to life-sized Pokemon plushies is none other than the laid-back Slowpoke!

Weighing 7.8 kilograms, the enormous Slowpoke plushie measures 150cm long from its silly-looking face to the tip of its tail, 65cm tall and 75cm wide. On the Japanese Pokemon Center website, its retail price is listed as 49,500 yen (about S$600).

It turns out that the Singapore Pokemon Store on Shopee will be taking pre-orders for the life-sized Slowpoke plushie from now till 30 June. Although it is priced slightly higher at S$650, given the shipping and logistics costs, an extra S$50 sounds just about right. As the giant plushie is made-to-order, the load of cuteness is expected to ship out only next January.

Half a year may seem like a long wait. But given the limited quantities available, the limited edition plushie may sell out before you know it!
