Rum Bellion 2022 features four main highlights. First, the limited-edition Plantation Single Cask 2021 Jamaica 1998 rum will be launched, making it the first to launch in the Asia Pacific. With only 126 bottles available for the Asia Pacific market, this rum is definitely exclusive.

Second, Rum Bellion 2022 will feature over 30 brands and 60 different expressions of rum, with participating brands including Mount Gay from Barbados, Tiki Lovers from the Caribbean and The Kraken from Trinidad & Tobago.

For the third highlight, bartenders from Asia’s 50 Best, including Jay Gray from Sago House and Joseph Haywood from Low Tide, will make cocktails from famous brands, including Chalong Bay, Equiano and Foursquare.

Other popular bars that will be participating in the event include Lime House Caribbean and The Bar at 15 Stamford. Visiting bars from overseas include Buccaneers Rum & Kitchen from Manila, Philippines, Dirty Dick from Paris, France, and Teens of Thailand from Bangkok, Thailand.

The final highlight of Rum Bellion 2022 is Heart of Darkness’ very own special edition beer, inspired by popular rum cocktails like daiquiri, pina colada and mojito.

Look forward to fringe festivities on 3 and 4 June 2022 at participating bars by overseas guest bartenders, with entertainment like live DJs, tattoo artists and face painters. Host bars for these fringe festivities include Origin Bar and Low Tide.

If you’re a die-hard lover of rum, you definitely won’t want to miss Rum Bellion 2022.
