Singapore fans treated to Ariana Grande and The Chainsmokers at F1
The crowd at this year’s Formula One Singapore Grand Prix were treated to a high energy performance by American pop star Ariana Grande on Saturday night (16 September).
The 24-year-old singer behind global hits such as “Side to Side” and “Into You”, sang over 10 songs at The Padang in front of thousands of fans.
During her one-hour show, Grande performed her songs back-to-back and danced in sky-high heels. Many of her tracks were combined into a medley or transformed into a capella renditions.
Fans were treated to Grande’s signature powerhouse vocals and well-coordinated dance moves. Many were spotted singing along to her hits such as “Bang Bang”, “One Last Time” and “Let Me Love You”.

Electronic duo The Chainsmokers got the crowd dancing and jumping after taking over the stage from Grande.
The American duo, consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, played a string of EDM-pop tunes for about one-and-a-half hour. These songs included remixes of popular tracks such as Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, The Lion King’s soundtrack “Circle of Life” and Coldplay’s “Yellow”.
The Chainsmokers wrapped up the night with crowd favourites such as “Closer” and “Something Just Like This”, which saw the crowd cheering and singing. Their final song was the award-winning hit “Don’t Let Me Down”, which took home a Grammy earlier this year for Best Dance Recording.
