[Standing at the same spot, 16 years later] . Recently while shooting for the cover of @thesingaporewomensweekly , I found myself at the back alley of Emerald Hill. To my surprise, this was exactly the same spot I was at 16 years ago, one evening after a commercial shoot. . I got myself a small part in a telco ad then, acting as one of the many friends in a celebratory birthday shoot. After two hours, I remember walking away with $50 in my hand, being very happy that it was really good income for the short amount of time. I still remember standing at the back alley, looking back at the Peranakan house where we were shooting, with its lights still beaming through cos the shoot was still on going with the main leads. . Fast forward 16 years on, I found myself standing at the exact same spot where I looked back at the house, but now, I was looking straight at the camera taking the photos for the cover shoot. . I do not believe in coincidences; but I do believe it's an awesome reminder of how my life had evolved and how my good Father has always been there for me, every step of the way. To be honest, I got to be thankful for all that had happened since then, if not I wouldn't find myself sharing what I did in my interview and being who I am right now( not perfect but growing)❤️ . Do check out the July Issue of @thesingaporewomensweekly ❤️ May the contents find you well😘
