Singapore celebs' social media recap: Week 11 - 17 Dec

18 Dec - Our favourite celebs recently get themselves involved in the annual President's Star Charity held at the MES Theatre at Mediacorp, attended by President Halimah Yacob, who made her maiden appearance as guest-of-honour.

Funny man Gurmit Singh, who hosted the show, looking dapper here with co-hosts Glenda Chong, Paul Foster, and Kimberly Wang.

He posted, "It takes all of us to help the less fortunate."

Kym Ng spotted the handsome James Seah, Desmond Ng, and Pierre Png, and took this photo behind the scene of the charity event.

Ng, who played the harp on stage as part of the Care & Concern Society rep, also thanked her teachers from Rave Harps for helping her with the musical instrument.

Co-host Paul Foster, who also performed in a Peranakan dance at the event, announced that they were able to raise over SGD 7.6 million for 52 beneficiaries.

He wrote, "Love does win, a big thank you to everyone involved and everyone else who has donated so far."

As for Denise Camilia Tan, the actress shared this photo (which might have been taken before or after the event), and admitted to feel humbled by the experience of performing live at the charity.

Rebecca Lim expresses happiness for the opportunity to play four childhood songs on piano alongside the TENG Ensemble at the charity event.

"Let's do it again! Next time, I'll play the saxophone!" she posted.
