Singapore actress Jaime Teo remains very much involved with “Twelve Cupcakes” after selling the business to an Indian tea company in January this year. On Monday (4 December), the winner of Miss Universe Singapore 2001 announced the cupcake chain’s launch of a new range of chewy cookies that will come in six flavours.

According to her post on Instagram, they will be available at chain’s outlets in Bugis Junction, Changi City Point, Jurong Point, Nex and Orchard Gateway. “It’s today!!! We are launching The Cookies!!” she said in her post. “They are chewy and big and yummy.”

According to an interview with local magazine 8Days, Teo is still involved with Twelve Cupcakes in terms of creative consultation and marketing.

Twelve Cupcakes experienced rapid growth since its founding years. Today, the chain has a total of 29 stores across Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Taiwan, among others, with subsidiary brands such as Honey Cakes and Dulce and Sucre. The cupcakery has since been acquired by Indian tea company Dhunseri Group.
