If you’re reading this you already know: we created a class series just for you packed with all the stuff you *really* want to know—and, more importantly, *need* to know—to level-up your life. It’s called ExtraCurricular: you can learn all about it here, and sign up for all the classes your Google Cal can handle here.

Reminder: ExtraCurricular classes are free and you can re-watch them all through the end of the semester—unless you join Cosmo Unlocked, in which case you can keep the vids forever. (Better than taking notes, TBH.)

But we know you. You’re the extra credit type. Which, same. That’s why we’re also introducing the Cosmo Shadowship—a two-week crash course on all things Team Cosmo. Three “shadowees” (yeah, okay, we made it up) will spend one-on-one time with our crew to learn firsthand what it takes to, well, do what we do.

Each day you’ll meet with staffers from different teams (editorial, social media, sales and marketing, fashion, art and production, public relations, and more—there’s a lot of us!) to get an inside look into how we craft the magazine each month, run the website and social platforms every day, produce photoshoots 24/7, and sooo much more. And you’ll get even get facetime with Cosmo’s editor-in-chief Jessica Pels and publisher Nancy Berger. I mean!

The shadowship will take place during the spring 2021 semester (though you don’t have to be currently enrolled in a college or university to be considered), and will be virtual for, ahem, obvious reasons. But our office is just as fun online as it is IRL, promise.

Oh, and speaking of—Dell is also offering a *special* remote paid internship opportunity, open to North America-based college juniors rising to seniors, from May 24 to August 13, 2021. Yup! Three interns will work alongside the tech company's marketing team.

It gets even better, you guys: Cosmo shadowees and Dell interns will be gifted with brand new XPS laptops by Dell(!) to help ya stay connected. *pause for screams*

Okay, want to apply? For the Cosmo shadowship, submit your cover letter and resume to extracurricularbycosmo@hearst.com by November 25, 2020. (Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.) For the Dell internship, click here for more information and to apply. And if you haven’t signed up for an ExtraCurricular class yet, click here to build your schedule. (Registration for an ExtraCurricular class is not required for consideration for a shadowship.)

See you in class!

P.S. You knew there would be fine print, right? We can’t respond to all submissions, but your submission will be read and considered and you will be notified if selected. The Cosmo shadowship will be scheduled based on staff availability; we reserve the right to substitute participants based on their mutual availability. Participants must have access to an internet connection sufficient to support a virtual experience. Your application, including any personal information you choose to submit as part of your application, will be used for purposes of carrying out the shadowship selection process, communicating with you about your application, and for our internal business purposes.

All arrangements related to the Dell internship are the sole responsibility of Dell and the intern; Hearst Magazines Media has no role in the criteria, selection or placement of any Dell interns.
