As if we needed another reason to love Sia. The incredibly talented songstress just fought back against the paparazzi in a brave and empowering way. Sia posted a naked picture of herself on Twitter after learning that paparazzi were trying to sell the photo to “clients.”

“Someone is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans,” Sia wrote in her tweet. “Save your money, here it is for free. Everyday is Christmas!”

(Everyday is Christmas is cheekily — no pun intended — the name of her upcoming Christmas album.)

The photo show’s Sia’s blurred from behind with a watermark across the top declaring the photo a, “Client Preview.” The image also included a screenshot of a text from a paparazzi offering up 14 additional photos in the sale.

Let’s make one thing clear: Selling naked photos of anyone without their consent is 100% not okay, even when they are famous. It’s an extreme violation of privacy and many celebrities have opened up about how powerless and vulnerable it makes them feel. This is why Sia’s move is so brilliant — she took the power back and beat the paparazzi at their own game.

Sia has always been clear about her dislike of the spotlight in general. In a 2013 Billboard writeup, Sia discussed her relationship with fame and how she wants it to be nonexistent (hence the oversized wigs). She compares being famous to having millions of “mother-in-laws” who critique her every move, decision, physicality, and bolster every insecurity.

Which means we’re applauding this bold move all the more.

And her followers are here for it:

Take note, paparazzi. Sia is not a woman to be trifled with, so you can delete those photos ASAP.
