Shirley Yeung gives birth to second child
17 Feb – Shirley Yeung announced that she has given birth to her second child.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress shared the good news on Instagram with a photo of daughter Krystal and her newborn brother, writing, "Welcome to our big family, Piggy. Thank you to my family, and to the doctors and nurses for taking care of me."
"It was a successful birth. I weigh 7.8 pounds and nap after I eat and I eat a lot, so my mother calls me Piggy. I also have a sister, Krystal, who loves me. Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!" she added.
Speaking to the media, Shirley admitted that she was extra cautious during the final months of her pregnancy due to the Coronavirus outbreak, and didn't even dare leave the house. The actress added that she gave birth in a private hospital on 12 February, with only one person being allowed to enter at all times.
"My husband accompanied me throughout the process and it took me four hours to deliver this time, which was more painful than the last time," she admitted.
It was in October last year that Shirley surprised everybody by announcing that she was married and expecting her second child. However, the actress kept mum about the identity of her husband.
